STONY RUN RENOVATION

A traditional 1940s brick colonial house needed improved functionality and modernization while preserving some of its historic charm. Revolve Design reconfigured the first floor by moving the kitchen to the existing formal dining room and enclosing an outdoor breezeway to serve as the mudroom, enhancing the home's flow for both daily use and entertaining. Removing a wall that separated the former dining room from the pantry and powder room allowed the homeowners to maximize the use of existing windows and connect to the backyard. The new kitchen features a stunning, oversized island with a quartz countertop and waterfall edges. Revolve Design creatively used off-the-shelf cabinetry panels to achieve a more modern, custom look.
