LANASA LANE RENOVATION

Revolve Design is proud to have partnered with a young family to renovate their townhouse in Grindall’s Yard, located in historic Federal Hill. We removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room, which expanded the originally cramped kitchen and allowed natural light from the rear windows to flow throughout the house. In place of the wall, we designed a large island that offers plenty of countertop space and seating, while preserving the character of the original home. The kitchen features a functional layout focused on cooking convenience, a mix of solid and glass-front cabinets that utilize the home’s high ceilings, a marble countertop and backsplash, and an exposed brick feature wall that pays homage to the home’s Baltimore history. Additionally, Revolve Design incorporated a private work-from-home office space to meet today's modern lifestyle. This design maintains abundant access to natural light, ensuring an open atmosphere while providing a dedicated area for focus and privacy.
